SPAL Experience 

Established in Correggio, Reggio Emilia, 50 years ago in 1959, initially manufacturing technical components in plastic, the  business has developed over the past 33 years with SPAL actively engaged in the automotive industry, designing manufacturing and marketing axial and centrifugal electric fans.

The company also specialises in the manufacture of a number of different accessories that stand out in terms of their  technological excellence, extreme reliability and universal applications: power windows, security alarms, door locking systems, parking distance sensors and CAN bus interfaces.

Today, the SPAL facilities cover an area on 35,000 square metres and the workforce  currently stand at 600 employees, at the service of over 600 customers, worldwide who rely on our expertise. 

The experience acquired in over 33 years of commitment in the Automotive Industry has made the company extremely competitive.  It has also given it important International Credibility; thanks to the ongoing support given to research and development, the company has quickly established a reputation for itself in terms of advanced and cutting-edge technology solutions.

As well as developing new products, SPAL’s planning resources are systematically engaged in ambitious projects, aimed at acquiring new expertise and considerably upgrading consolidated products. 

Because it is able to count on the very latest design and manufacturing technologies, SPAL is able to ensure successful results regarding engineering activities, reduction of time-to-market, ease of execution of prototype modifications and the control of manufacturing costs.

Computer-assisted simulation systems create operating conditions for the virtual prototypes and enable the designer to determine and analyse the behaviour and reactions of the finished product in real time.

What is more, the technological solutions adopted, which are the automatic, flexible and robotised type, also ensure that the constant top-quality standards are achieved over time.
