A world class pedigree

With an established pedigree in brushed products, SPAL is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge brushless technology to keep pace with main engine cooling and the continued development of the latest generation of battery and hybrid vehicles.

SPAL’s market leading thermal management solutions, driven by fully sealed brushless motors, are in demand by global automotive OEMs. Lighter in weight and designed to operate at optimum efficiency, SPAL fans deliver proven fuel savings, longer life and reduced emissions.

To meet rising demand for brushless technology, SPAL has massively extended its state-of the-art production facility at the company’s Italian headquarters in Correggio.

The new fully automated site spans 16,000sqm, and operates 24 hours a day, six days a week producing over 1.5 million units a year, bringing SPAL’s total manufacturing capacity to over 6m units per annum.

This makes SPAL’s production facility one of the most advanced brushless facilities in the world.

It offers impressive vertical integration of the entire process from tooling design, engineering, research & development, product testing, rapid prototyping and manufacturing.

The established 66,000sqm production facility has been further extended with new brushless production and a fully automated vertical warehouse of 30,000 individual bays.
