SPAL AUTOMOTIVE is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high quality electric fans and blowers for all types of vehicles.
Founded in Italy in 1959, we initially specialized in plastic mould design and production and for last 40 years have been designing, producing and marketing high-performance axial fans and centrifugal blowers for cars, buses, off-road vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural tractors, trucks, motor sports and industrial equipment.
The SPAL production facility in Correggio – Italy, has recently been extended to include a new fully automated 16,000 m² production area dedicated to the manufacture of brushless motors, providing cooling systems for the world’s leading hybrid and electric OEMs. In operation 24 hours a day and 6 days a week, our facility is able to output 1.5m brushless units per annum, bringing our total current capacity up to 6m units per annum. This makes SPAL’s production facility one of the largest and most advanced brushless facilities in the world.
In addition, our established 66,000m² production facility houses the engineering department, research & development, and manufacturing.
SPAL has offices and distribution centres in every continent, our annual turnover is 600m Euros and we employ over 1000 people globally.
