Compact and select the inaugural SAGE Expo, one of the first in person events attended by SPAL for over a year, had ample space for exhibitors and visitors to mingle at a distance. It was also the perfect opportunity to test out the new mobile exhibition vehicle.
It proved quite the attraction for visitors to look round the neatly organised interior and enjoy a cup of espresso from the onboard facility. It was a welcome place to huddle under the canopy during the sudden downpours but Adam Betteridge who was on duty to setup will be careful during break down to avoid being drenched by pockets of collected rain.
SAGE 2021 - it's great to be networking again
Planning his 3-day stint wisely he enjoyed studying the groundcare equipment - line painters and mowers - as it is a genuine interest for him. Being mechanically minded, Adam relishes the opportunity to talk about the inner workings of machines and be able to give quantifiable answers to any questions about what SPAL fans can do to boost performance through effective thermal management.
Meeting face to face again with people in the sector was a reminder of the importance of networking.
Every new contact is bonus because even though you might not be talking to exactly the right person, they might be able to give you the name of someone who is.
The next outing for the new vehicle will be CropTec - 24-25 November, East of England Showground.
