A brief history of SPAL UK
SPAL Automotive UK was established in 2009 and is the distribution centre for UK & Ireland. Since its inception, SPAL UK has seen dramatic growth year on year and has recently substantially extended warehousing facilities to meet rising demand.
From its Worcester base, SPAL serves the OEM market and aftermarket across all its core sectors, supplying direct to customers as well as via a network of SPAL Approved Distributors.
Our mission is to develop, design and build the highest quality products for the market. We achieve this by continued focus on innovation, investment in research & development and by closely monitoring all stages of the manufacturing process.
Where it all began...
Founded in Italy in 1959, SPAL initially specialised in plastic mould design and production. It subsequently developed into all automotive sectors; designing, producing and marketing high-performance fans and blowers for a broad range of applications.
Those applications include bus and coach, off-road vehicles, industrial equipment, construction and agricultural machinery, refrigerated transport and motorsport.
Accreditations
We hold TS16949 and ISO 9001 certifications, which specify the quality system requirements for design, development, production and, where relevant, installation and servicing.
SPAL Environmental Management System is certified to UNI EN ISO14001:2015, and also meets the European Directive 2000/53/EC on end-of-life vehicles (ELV).
SPAL enjoys AEO status, an internationally recognised quality mark that shows our role in the international supply chain is secure and that our customs controls and procedures meet EU standards.
