SPAL is proud to support Harper Adams University through its scholarship and enjoyed being part of the online presentation held 12th May which showcased the 2021 winners including Max Finch engineering undergraduate BEng/BEng Hons Automotive Engineering (Off-Highway):

Harper Adams University awards over half a million pounds in scholarships this year
Although sorry not to be face-to-face and chat over afternoon tea as we did early last year, we were very impressed to learn from the presentation all about the extensive work of the Harper Adams Development Trust and how the scholars plan to enhance their studies and equip themselves for their future careers.
This year the university awarded £504,300 in scholarships - a long way from the £17,000 when the Trust was set up 15 years ago. There were 773 applications, 332 interviews carried out and 136 scholarships secured.
The online presentation format worked really well and is a testament to how the university and students have successfully adapted to virtual mode to produce a meaningful way to honour achievements during these difficult times.
We look forward to hearing from Max on his academic progress and lending our support to fulfil our mission to encourage engineering talent in the best way we can. This includes a plan to arrange a placement for last year’s winner of the SPAL scholarship at SPAL’s Italian HQ once travel to Europe opens up.
