SPAL Automotive UK is once again supporting top seeded agricultural university Harper Adams by offering an exclusive scholarship to Year 2 and Year 4 engineering students.
As a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance fans and blowers found on the kit of the major global agricultural OEMs, SPAL is finding its products increasingly specified in electric and hydrogen fuelled machinery.
The acceleration of the sector towards achieving net zero emissions is a current challenge for engineers, so SPAL is posing the question to applicants for the scholarship how its products can contribute to reducing emissions in compliance with Stage V and Euro 6 regulations.
SPAL excited about supported engineering's next generation
SPAL Automotive MD Matthew Morris: “We find it very exciting to hear ideas from the next generation of engineers about how they would approach the environmental conundrums of the future.”
Doris Taylor, Head of Development at Harper Adams Development Trust adds: “I would like to express my thanks to SPAL UK, as I am very pleased that this scholarship is now being offered for the third time to engineering students at Harper Adams University. It is always a joy to be working with Matthew Morris and Parmjit Chima, Head of Engineering, to select a successful scholar and I look forward to this year’s interviews.”
