SPAL boosts green credentials with WWT membership

SPAL is doing its bit for the environment by joining the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust (WWT) as a corporate member to support conservation projects in the local area.

Partnering the charity is one way for SPAL to improve its green credentials having already upped its recycling efforts and using less plastic in the warehouse.

All of this is in line with the principles of its ultra-efficient brushless drive technology range of fans which are proven to reduce emissions and are increasingly specified for battery cooling in EVs and fuel cell vehicles.

Worcestershire Wildlife Trust is on SPAL UK's doorstep

WWT has recently undertaken rewilding in the Ronkswood and Tolladine areas close to SPAL and the plan is to fund tools, seeds and saplings for similar projects in the pipeline.

James Coughlan, Head of Sales & Marketing for SPAL says:

“I am absolutely delighted SPAL is joining WWT as protecting nature and wild spaces is very close to my heart.“

There is a saying - when is the best time to plant a tree? Yesterday.
When is the second-best time to plant a tree? Today!

That certainly rings true for me and it will be exciting to develop our involvement with WWT over the coming months.”
