During a very busy time and a fabulous first few months of trading in 2021, Ashley Brown picked the right time to join the team at SPAL Automotive UK as Technical Sales Support.
Attracted to the position as something he could slot right into, Ash will use elements of his previous experience in vehicle hire and customer services roles at industrial giants British Polythene and Air Products by way of an earlier career in banking.
He says: “This is the kind of job that encapsulates pretty much anything, so I am in full preparation mode. I am two weeks into learning all about SPAL fans and blowers, priming myself to be the first point of contact at SPAL linking to the external sales team.”
SPAL enjoying strong first quarter and that's set to continue
Being a fan of all things sporty, Ash is a good fit for the rest of the team. He can’t get enough of running and cycling and is currently enjoying the commute into work on foot so that he feels refreshed and energised for the day.
SPAL MD Matthew Morris adds: “It was good timing that Ash could join us after a particularly strong first quarter that looks set to continue. Because of his previous experience. it hasn’t taken long to train him up to handle customer queries and support the business development managers as they prepare to get back out on the road.”
