Coach travel sector looking to a return to normal

The coach travel sector lost 62% of its tourism business because of the pandemic which has been made worse by Brexit which now requires visitors to the UK to obtain a visa a process that can take 6-8 weeks. The good news is, the industry is working to change that and coupled with government funding, there are already promising signs that the sector is starting come back and is on course for a return to normal in 2023.

Patricia said: “I learned a lot from attending, there were some useful insights into the market at the moment and how it is bouncing back. The best part for me though was the chance to meet with existing customers and make some new contacts too.”

*CoachMarque is the official accreditation for coach travel which focusses on safety, customer service and organisational excellence.
