After landing their first event win in 8 years of competing in Formula Student, debuting an electric car, Craig Yeardly, Operations Manager, University of Strathclyde Motorsport (USM) has been in touch to say:
“Thank you for making our project possible every year and especially your support throughout our transition to our first electric vehicle!
“We achieved some outstanding results in the off-track events which we are incredibly proud of, the highlight being our first event victory in eight years in the cost and manufacturing event! We followed this up with 9th in our business plan presentation and 12th in the design event. Overall, these results contributed greatly to our final result of 14th place out of 54 teams competing."
Great performance from USM
This performance is quite something and reflects a lot of hard work from the team and like all good engineers USM has gathered all the experience and learning to put into their next entry in #FSUK in 2023.
