Lucky Neil Grainger of Always Digging had a visit last week from SPAL’s James Bowett, to be presented with a £50 voucher for a meal at the ‘Masters of Steak’, Miller & Carter.
Neil had filled in a feedback form all about SPAL’s high-performance fans and blowers at the UK Plant Operator of the Year 2022 finals for which SPAL was one of the sponsors, and his entry was first out of the hat.
Delighted with his prize, Neil had competed in the finals along with his ‘digger mad son’ and is part of a construction dynasty which began with his dad who was a demolition man.
The UK Plant Operator of the Year 2022 event held at O’Brien’s sand quarry in Leighton Buzzard on 10th September, saw 40 finalists put through their paces to complete a series of straight trench, tiltrotator, selector grab and machine control challenges.
